F-Vault for Mac provides users with a convenient and safe way to store and access private files. Easily store secret files in places where others cannot open them.
You can add any type of file to the F-Vault by dragging and dropping or from the menu. F-Vault will save a copy of these files separately. Note: Uninstalling F-Vault will also delete the files stored in F-Vault. To avoid file loss, please export the files in F-Vault before uninstalling.
After adding files to F-Vault, they will be protected by a password and can only be accessed by entering a user-defined password or verifying their identity through fingerprint recognition. This helps prevent others from seeing your private files and ensures more secure protection.
In F-Vault, you can directly open your photos, videos, and any other files just like in Finder. However, once the F-Vault is turned off, the file cannot be opened again even from the recent record of the opener.
Files in F-Vault cannot be searched or listed from Spotlight. Realize file stealth.

Couple of problems
Just downloaded this and have immediatly run into 2 issues. Set-up my password, no problem. But I have tried 4 or 5 times to get the app to apply my email as a safeguard to forgetting my password and it 'spins' for a while and then tells me my network is not available. Which it is. I'm on it. I can see it's available.
2nd issues is the 1st 2 file folders that I dragged into F-Vault can still be seen in my Documents folder. Shouldn't they NOT be able to be seen. I have closed the window and re-opened it a couple times. The folders are still visible.
So far, not impressed.

For the network issue, I will add more server to support more users, currently since it is a free app, and I am paying the server bill, so it is a very cheap server now.
For the folder issue, after you import, you need to manually remove the orignal folder.
LIFETIME PIRCHASE IS WORTH IT!
This app is worth the keep.
Please note that if you purchase your Lifetime Serial number, keep in mind that the official website's app and the Apple Store's app doesn't intertwine when retoring purchases upon re-downloading the app.
Also, the developer was very nice and quickly assisted me on my lifetime serial issue. I highly recommend this app beacause nowadays privacy matters in all levels.

Advantage & Disadvantage
The Tool is definitely very easy to use. It is exactly what it spelled out in the Apple Apps Store. However, the negative side is, what if the user does not use this tool after creating or copying all those files inot this shelter. A few months later, the user tried to allocate the files, but has no clue where to go to find those hidden folders and files.
Suggestion is to have the F-Vault Disk appers on the Mac HD or in Desktop. When the user click on that 'F-Vault', the Prompt will pop-up and ask for Password. I hope this help.

Thank you for using the app and like it. I like the suggestion about the Pop-up, I might bring that features in further.
And for files, do not worry, if you uninstall the app, the file are still there, once you reinstall it, you can get it back.
