The Delhi Metro is a metro system serving Delhi and its satellite cities in the National Capital Region in India. A fleet of Bombardier MOVIA metro trains serves the network.

As part of its strategic supplier partnership with Bombardier Transportation, BFG International produced FRP parts, including interiors, front ends, and driver cabs, for these trains at its facility in Bahrain and India.

The front ends are crafted from BFG’s patented phenolic material, which gives them superior strength-to-weight ratio. Over 165 types of panels were developed for this project, using a contact moulding process. All parts comply with BS-6853 fire safety regulations.
