Abstract

The present invention relates to novel salts of Adefovir dipivoxil and a preparation method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to high-quality crystalline acid addition salts and a preparation method thereof, wherein the crystalline acid addition salts have improved solubility, non-hygroscopicity, bioavailability, and powder flowability by reacting Adefovir dipivoxil with pharmaceutically acceptable fatty acids. The novel salts of Adefovir dipivoxil prepared according to the invention are physicochemically and pharmaceutically stable and show improved properties over existing Adefovir dipivoxil or salts thereof.
