技术领域

背景技术
将活的生物体暴露于负氧化还原电位条件提供许多健康益处。例如,人消化道中有益的厌氧菌在还原条件下更好地生长(Curr.Tr.Options in Gastr.2007,10:312-321)。证据表明负氧化还原电位(“NORP”或“负ORP”)也可在调节结肠炎和炎性肠病的治疗中的炎性反应方面提供益处(Aliment Pharmacol Ther 2006,24:701-714)。
NORP条件还被认为提供与维生素和酶例如过氧化物歧化酶、过氧化氢酶和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶类似的抗氧化益处。因此,考虑NORP材料作为包括自由基在内的反应性氧物质的清除剂起作用(J.of App.Electrochem.200131:1307-1313)。据报道负ORP的水在治疗糖尿病和代谢综合征方面提供益处(Cytotech.2002,40:139-142;Nutr.Res.2008;28:137-143)。
不意外地,已经开发了商业装置用于生产NORP饮用水。例如,水电解池,诸如在美国专利号6,623,615中公开的那些水电解池,使用电流在家里产生碱性的NORP饮用水。这些装置具有两个缺陷。首先,通过电解池生产的NORP是不稳定的,并且用这些装置处理的水随时间推移失去其NORP。因此,为了获得NORP益处,电解作用处理的饮用水必须在处理后不久使用。第二,电解装置由于其尺寸和需要电源并且与水龙头连接,对于便携使用是不实际的。
生产还原饮用水的另一机构是授权给Hayashi等的美国专利号No.7,189,330的主题。该文献描述包含元素镁和银颗粒的装置,所述元素镁和银颗粒被包封在棒形的陶瓷套中。实践中,这些棒被放置在饮用水中,用于生产富氢的NORP饮用水。
申请人注意到Hayashi等的装置遭受了许多限制。首先,用Hayashi等的装置处理的饮用水仅仅达到大约-50mV到-100mV的NORP。其次,申请人注意到Hayashi等的装置产生该稍微增加的NORP花费数个小时。申请人注意到的第三个缺点是Hayashi等的装置产生的NORP是不稳定的,因为处理过的水在除去装置后不久就回到其最初的氧化还原态。第四,申请人注意到Hayashi等的装置由于装置的镁和银颗粒的氧化而具有有限的使用期限。第五,Hayashi等的装置具有一定的微生物交叉污染的可能,这是因为其被设计用于多种应用,并且可用于处理不同个体的饮用水。
因此,申请人注意到本领域所需的因此是用于在饮用水和其他消耗性材料中快速且有效地产生强、稳定的NORP而几乎没有任何微生物污染可能的便携式机构。
发明内容
申请人的发明通过提供在零售、农业、卫生保健、美容剂、水处理和科学研究应用中使用的安全、稳定化的添加剂,克服了用于生产有益NORP的已知方法和装置的缺陷。
在一个方面,本发明提供用于在消耗性材料中产生NORP的添加剂,其中添加剂包含至少一种还原剂和至少一种载体的混合物,其中载体是水溶的且无毒的。
在另一个方面,本发明提供用于在消耗性材料中产生NORP的添加剂,其中添加剂包含至少一种还原剂和至少一种载体的混合物,其中添加剂在消耗性材料中产生大约-200和-800mV之间的负氧化还原电位。
在另一个方面,本发明提供用于在消耗性材料中产生NORP的添加剂,其中混合物包含(a)还原剂,其选自有机还原剂、无机还原剂和其组合,和(b)至少一种载体,其选自碱、糖、抗坏血酸类似物、EDTA类似物和其组合。

具体实施方式
一般而言,本发明涉及在零售、农业、卫生保健、美容剂、水处理和科学研究应用中使用的材料中快速且有效地产生稳定NORP的添加剂。本发明包括使用这类添加剂增加消耗性材料的营养和健康益处的方法。本发明也涉及制造本发明的添加剂的方法。
在一些方面,本发明的添加剂包括还原剂和载体的混合物。这类混合物可以使用至少一种还原剂和至少一种载体配制。本发明的添加剂可使用无机还原剂、有机还原剂或其组合配制。
本发明可以使用如本文公开的当与含水材料接触时能够产生负ORP的任何无机还原剂实践。适当的无机还原剂可包括例如元素金属。这类元素金属包括但不限于镁(Mg)、钙(Ca)、锌(Zn)、铁(Fe)、铜(Cu)、钴(Co)、锰(Mn)和其组合。在一些方面,配制添加剂用于减少对于动物或人消耗不期望的物质。例如,可配制添加剂用于废水和园艺应用,如本文描述的。这类添加剂可包括还原剂,其包括但不限于肼(例如肼盐)、硼氢化物[例如LiBH4、NaBH4、NaBH3CN、KBH4]、亚硫酸盐和其组合。这些还原剂可单独使用,或与上面所述的一种或多种元素金属组合使用。
本发明的添加剂可用有机还原剂配制。这类还原剂包括如本文描述的当与含水材料(例如消耗性材料)接触时产生NORP的任何有机还原剂。本发明的添加剂可使用肼和/或二氢-吡啶的有机衍生物配制。用于本发明的一些适当的有机还原剂包括但不限于氨基-胍、二氢-吡咯衍生物、二氢-呋喃衍生物、二氢-吡啶衍生物、1,4-二氢-吡啶衍生物(二氢-葫芦巴碱-DHT)和其组合。
如上所述,本发明的添加剂使用一种或多种载体配制。优选地,当还原剂(一种或多种)和载体(一种或多种)彼此组合时,用于本发明的载体不引起或不会促进还原剂(一种或多种)的氧化。本领域技术人员理解,载体(以及还原剂)的选择将取决于运用添加剂的具体应用。例如,可期望可溶的或不溶的载体。用于本发明的载体包括但绝不限于碱、糖类、抗坏血酸类似物、EDTA、EDTA类似物、和其组合。

在一些方面,本发明的添加剂使用一种或多种糖类(例如碳水化合物)载体配制。与其他形式的载体一样,糖类载体不应该氧化还原剂(一种或多种)或不利地影响还原剂(一种或多种)在材料(例如消耗性材料)中产生负ORP的能力。用于本发明的糖类包括但不限于单糖、二糖、低聚糖、多糖、糖醇和其组合。用于本发明的一些糖包括但不限于果糖、葡萄糖、甘露糖、山梨糖、木糖、麦芽糖、乳糖、蔗糖、菊糖、葡聚糖和其组合。适当糖醇的一些非限制性实例包括甘露醇、山梨糖醇、肌醇、卫矛醇、木糖醇、阿糖醇、和其组合。本发明进一步考虑用包括人工甜味剂的载体配制还原剂。适当的人工甜味剂包括但不限于三氯蔗糖(sucralose)、阿斯巴甜(aspartame)、糖精、乙酰磺胺酸K(acesulfameK)和其组合。
在本发明的方面中,通过结合还原剂与其量足以稳定还原剂的还原电位的载体(一种或多种)配制添加剂。即,在如本文公开的,在添加剂处理材料(例如消耗性材料)之前,可使用还原剂与足量的载体的结合来防止或抑制添加剂的氧化。例如,可将还原剂与足量的一种或多种载体结合以防止还原剂暴露于大气氧而氧化。相似地,通过使强还原剂与足量的载体结合,可使强还原剂对于用于产生NORP是安全的。例如,通过将镁与足量载体结合,可消除细分镁(例如小于-35筛的颗粒)的不受控制燃烧的风险。这种制剂的一个非限制性实例包括镁颗粒(在大约37到500微米之间)与碳酸氢钾以大约1∶4和1∶50(镁∶碳酸氢钾)之间的重量比的组合。
通过采用成比例更大量的载体配制还原剂,可稳定还原剂。用于稳定还原剂的一些适当比例包括但不限于按重量计或按摩尔比计大约1∶4和大约1∶50(还原剂∶载体)之间的比例。例如,本领域技术人员理解,本发明的添加剂可以用在大气条件下抑制或防止添加剂氧化的任何还原剂与载体比例配制。
用于与还原剂组合的载体可针对其增强还原剂在材料(例如消耗性材料)中产生和/或保持负ORP的能力进行选择。这类载体在本文可称为“NORP-增强载体”。NORP-增强载体允许使用与其一起配制的还原剂(一种或多种)比在不存在这种NORP-增强载体的情况下在消耗性材料中产生和/或保持更多的NORP。NORP-增强载体也增加消耗性材料保持其NORP的时间段。例如,可使用镁络合剂(complexing agent)增加镁在消耗性材料中产生和保持负ORP的能力。这样的镁络合剂包括但不限于抗坏血酸(ascorbate)、EDTA、EDTA-样配体(例如EDTA类似物)、柠檬酸盐、苹果酸盐、酒石酸盐、单糖、低聚糖(例如甘露醇和菊糖)和其组合。
用于本发明的载体进一步包括但不限于柠檬酸钠、磷酸二钙、填料或增充剂(例如淀粉、乳糖、蔗糖、葡萄糖、甘露醇和硅酸)、粘合剂(例如羧甲基纤维素、海藻酸盐、明胶、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮(polyvinylpyrrolidinone)、蔗糖、黄原胶、芦荟凝胶和阿拉伯胶)、崩解剂(例如琼脂、碳酸钙、马铃薯或木薯淀粉、海藻酸、硅酸盐和碳酸钠)、缓冲剂和其组合。
本发明的一个方面涉及可用于配制本发明的添加剂(即混合物)的还原剂和载体的比例。可使用允许添加剂在材料(例如消耗性材料)中产生期望NORP和/或pH的任何还原剂与载体比例,配制本发明的添加剂。本领域技术人员将理解,使用的还原剂和载体的相对量将取决于多个变量,其包括但不限于还原剂(一种或多种)的强度、载体的化学性质、NORP的期望水平(即目标NORP)、添加剂中还原剂的期望浓度、待被还原的消耗性材料中NORP的起始水平、待处理的消耗性材料中期望的pH、和/或稳定还原剂(一种或多种)需要的载体的量。
可以配制本发明的添加剂以在目标消耗性材料中达到期望水平的NORP。如本文使用的,术语“目标消耗性材料”指意欲用本发明的添加剂处理(即还原)的消耗性材料。同样地,目标消耗性材料可以是用于限定本发明添加剂的特定还原电位的参考材料。蒸馏水和反渗透(RO)水是这类参考材料的非限制性实例。例如并且绝非限制性地,可以在大约0.2-0.5克/L蒸馏水之间的浓度下,配制添加剂以产生大约-200到-800mv之间的目标NORP。本领域技术人员将理解,载体和还原剂的比例和数量将根据选择的具体还原剂和要求的ORP的负变化而改变。
在本发明的一些方面,添加剂被配制以在人消耗的食物和饮料中达到目标NORP。不限于任何具体的NORP范围或值,本发明的添加剂可被配制以在消耗性材料中产生大约-200mV和-800mV之间(或至少-200mV)的目标NORP。在一些实施方式中,配制本发明的添加剂以产生大约-600mV的负ORP变化。期望水平的NORP变化可取决于目标消耗性材料(例如食物或饮料)的天然NORP值和期望的NORP水平。例如,目标消耗性材料可具有+100mV的天然(即初始的或静息的)ORP。如果目标消耗性材料的目标NORP是大约-600mV,那么配制添加剂以产生大约-700mV的负NORP变化。这类添加剂的配制可取决于待处理的目标消耗性材料的体积和待与消耗性材料结合的添加剂的量。例如,在1升饮料中使用所选择的量的添加剂,可配制添加剂以产生-700mV的变化。本领域技术人员将理解,通过获得目标消耗性材料的天然ORP的平均值并且调节添加剂中还原剂的浓度,或调节与所选择的体积的目标消耗性材料接触的添加剂的量,可达到目标NORP。
也考虑可以使用还原剂和包含碱的载体配制用于在食物和饮料中产生NORP的添加剂。可配制(和使用)这类添加剂以达到在大约-200mV和-800mV之间(或至少-200mV)的目标NORP和大约8和10之间的pH。
在本发明的一些方面,使用至少一种元素金属和至少一种载体配制添加剂,其中载体(一种或多种)以成比例的更大量(按重量计或按摩尔比计)存在。这类比率可包括例如从大约1∶4到大约1∶50之间的元素金属与载体比率。本领域技术人员将理解,本发明可以用如本文公开的允许本发明添加剂还原消耗性材料的任何还原剂与载体比率进行实践。本发明添加剂制剂的一个非限制性实例包括这样的混合物,其包含镁颗粒和至少一种载体(例如糖类、碱、EDTA、抗坏血酸类似物或其组合),其中镁和载体(一种或多种)分别以大约1∶4和1∶50(按摩尔比或按重量计)之间的比率存在。
在一些实施方式中,使用颗粒形式(例如粉末)的还原剂配制本发明的添加剂。例如,添加剂可包括颗粒,其包括但不限于有机还原剂、元素金属和其组合。使用的颗粒的大小可取决于还原剂的强度和在材料(例如消耗性材料)中达到目标NORP期望的时间长度。一般而言并且不希望限于任何特定的理论,较小颗粒大小增加还原剂的表面积,从而缩短达到目标NORP所需要的时间,并且增加材料的最终NORP值。实践本发明的适当颗粒大小包括但不限于大小在大约-400和-35目(即大约37到500微米)之间的颗粒。在本发明的一方面,使用大约45微米的镁颗粒配制添加剂。该颗粒可包括均一大小的颗粒或不同大小颗粒的混合物。尽管在此列出特定的颗粒大小范围,本发明考虑使用允许本发明的添加剂在消耗性材料中产生NORP的任何颗粒大小(或多种大小),如本文所公开的。
本发明的添加剂可采用多种不同的形式,其包括但不限于粉末、液体、凝胶、溶胶和浆。在本发明的一些方面,添加剂呈现干燥制剂(即干燥添加剂)的形式。这类干燥形式包括但不限于胶囊、片剂、泡腾片剂,其可被制备,用于与材料(例如消耗性材料)组合。干燥添加剂也可被配制为压缩粉末珠或粉末气雾剂。干燥添加剂可进一步使用已知的包括碳酸氢钠、柠檬酸等的制剂配制为泡腾组合物。本发明的添加剂可被包装,以抵抗环境氧化。例如,这可以使用气密包装例如箔袋(例如条形包装(stick-pack))或塑料容器实现。
本发明的添加剂可用于在其中期望通过使用添加剂以迅速、有效方式为材料性质提供还原性能的任何应用。这类应用包括但不限于零售、农业、保健、美容剂、水处理和科学研究应用。
在本发明的一些方面,使用添加剂在消耗性材料中产生负ORP,所述消耗性材料包括但不限于食物、饮料、糖食、甜品、食物代替物以及饮食和营养增补剂。如上所述,摄取具有高的负ORP(例如在大约-200和-800mV之间的ORP)的食物和饮料具有许多健康益处。本发明的添加剂可用于产生(例如增加)用于人消费的饮料的NORP,所述饮料例如水(例如泉水、井水、冰川水、蒸馏水、RO水和过滤水)、果汁、咖啡饮品、茶饮品、调味饮料(例如麦乳精、人工和天然调味的果饮料、调味水等等)、营养(例如矿物)水、能量饮品、水合电解质运动饮品、牛奶和其组合。在饮料中产生NORP的适当形式包括但不限于水溶片剂和粉末,其包括泡腾粉末和片剂。这类泡腾和非泡腾粉末可以包装在小袋中。
本发明的添加剂也可用于增加任何可摄取食物的健康益处。例如,本发明的添加剂可用于增加乳制品、水果、基于谷类的食物、调味品、增甜剂(例如糖和糖代替物)、香料、酱料和其组合的NORP。本发明的添加剂也可用于在食物代替物、饮食和营养增补剂和饮料混合物中产生NORP。例如,本发明的添加剂可以与蛋白质粉、维生素和矿物质增补剂(以丸剂、胶囊、提取物和饮料混合物形式)、食物和能量条(snack bars)、草药增补剂、排毒剂(cleanses)和代餐粉(meal replacement shakes)结合。在该能力中使用的添加剂可进入制备的(例如包装的)食物中,或者可就在消费之前,将添加剂加入到食物。
在本发明的方面中,添加剂与不含有对于添加剂在消耗性材料中产生NORP足够的水的材料(例如消耗性材料)组合。这将应用于任何干燥消耗性材料,例如干燥食物、冷冻干燥食物、饮料混合物、干燥美容剂(例如粉末、棒和防臭剂)、面粉、玉米淀粉、用于产生烘焙商品的制备混合物(例如薄烤饼、面包和蛋糕混合物)和营养增补剂(例如蛋白质粉和饮料混合物)。尽管由于缺少水,将这类干燥消耗性材料与添加剂接触不会产生NORP,但是这类处理的食物具有一旦与水接触产生NORP的潜能。因此,短语“产生NORP”包括为干燥材料提供当与水接触时实现NORP的潜能。
本发明的添加剂也可用于在美容剂产品中产生NORP。如本文使用的,术语“美容剂产品”和“美容剂”指为了美化、保持、修复、增强、清洗或改进皮肤或毛发外观的目的而应用至皮肤或毛发的任何产品。这类美容剂包括但绝不限于化妆品、肥皂、洗发剂、护理剂(conditioners)、毛发补养药、洗涤剂、去角质剂(exfoliants)、洗液、防晒剂、乳剂、牛奶、油类、香精、香水、提取物、嗽口水、防臭剂、止汗药、剃须膏、刮脸洗剂、刮脸凝胶和须后水(after shave)。用于该能力的添加剂可在制备(例如包装)美容剂产物中预配制,或者可就在使用之前将添加剂加至美容剂。例如,就在洗涤和/或剥落皮肤之前,将添加剂加入到洗涤剂或肥皂,以便保存添加剂的有益还原电位,直到就在使用之前。本发明的添加剂也可在女性卫生产品中增加NORP方面得到应用。
在本发明的一个方面,添加剂用于在美容剂中产生NORP,以便给美容剂提供强抗氧化性质。具有抗氧化NORP的美容剂具有许多益处,包括例如中和氧化应力、抗老化效应和改善水合。因此,NORP美容剂可用于改善皮肤的健康和外观。如本文使用的,术语“NORP美容剂”指通过与本发明的添加剂接触(即混合)已经被还原的美容剂,或者通过与本发明的添加剂接触(即混合)已实现还原含水环境潜能的干燥美容剂。运用到皮肤的干燥NORP美容剂可产生有益的NORP,因为皮肤通过出汗或扩散散发水以提供含水环境。NORP美容剂可用于抗老化效应,提高皮肤湿度和肿胀,减少细纹和皱纹,减少太阳斑,治疗晒斑和皮肤变应性,治疗化学灼伤和热灼伤以及治疗虫咬和由于与有毒植物接触造成的损伤。
可以使用还原剂和包含碱的载体的组合配制本发明的添加剂。可配制这类添加剂以达到在大约-200mV和-800mV之间(或至少-200mV)的目标NORP和大约8和10之间的pH。
本发明的添加剂也可在药物和卫生保健应用中得到应用。例如,本发明的添加剂可用于增加药物级含水溶液中的NORP,所述含水溶液例如滴眼剂、滴鼻剂、滴耳剂、舌下滴剂、吸入剂、静脉内溶液和口服药物(例如止咳糖浆)。本发明的添加剂也可在局部药物制剂中使用,其包括但不限于抗生素、抗炎药物和抗真菌药物。例如,这类局部制剂可以单独施加或以浸渍绷带或经皮贴剂的形式施加。与食物、饮料和美容剂一样,局部制剂可以用本发明的添加剂预配制,或者可以就在使用之前,将添加剂应用到局部药物。
本发明的添加剂可以在农业应用中得到应用。例如,添加剂可被大量生产用于处理兽用饮用水。本发明的添加剂也可用于在动物消耗的饮用水中产生NORP(和/或目标pH),所述动物包括但不限于牛、马、猪、绵羊、山羊和禽类物种(例如鸡、鸭和鹅)。相似地,本发明的添加剂可用于在家畜饲料中产生NORP。也就是说,可将至少一种还原剂和至少一种载体的混合物加入到动物饲料,以提高饲料的生物值。如在将添加剂应用于干燥(即无水)消耗性材料的其他应用中一样,添加剂可被认为在这类材料中产生NORP,因为添加剂增加干燥消耗性材料在引入含水环境后产生NORP的潜能。
本发明的添加剂可用于产生目标NORP(和/或pH),用于园艺用途。例如,添加剂可用于提高食物生产植物和观赏植物的健康。不限于任何具体理论,本发明的添加剂可用于在水性溶液(例如水(对于水合植物))、肥料和用于叶上的喷雾剂中产生NORP。本发明的添加剂也可加入到土壤作为增加土壤营养价值(即生物值)的手段。
本发明的添加剂也在过滤应用(例如水过滤器)中得到应用,在该过滤应用中期望在过滤的消耗性材料中产生NORP(和/或增加的pH)。可使用由包含至少一种还原剂和至少一种载体的添加剂浸渍、涂布或制造的过滤元件,实践这类应用。如本文使用的,术语“过滤元件”指当液体通过过滤装置时接触液体的任何过滤部件。过滤部件包括但不限于允许液体流过其的多孔体(例如筛网或纤维填充材料)。过滤元件也可包括可包封在过滤装置中的固体部件,例如杆、盘或珠。过滤元件可包括与过滤液体接触的过滤装置的壁(一个或多个)。过滤元件可由添加剂浸渍、涂布或制造。例如,可以通过将干燥添加剂压制成过滤元件的形状和形式,由添加剂制造过滤元件。
在本发明的一个具体的非限制性方法中,使用包含过滤元件的过滤装置过滤饮用水,所述过滤元件包含本发明的添加剂。一般而言,这类方法包括(1)提供由添加剂制造、浸渍或涂布的过滤元件;(2)将过滤元件与饮用水在适合允许饮用水达到目标NORP和/或期望pH的条件下接触;和(3)收集过滤的饮用水。
用于涂布、浸渍或制造过滤元件的添加剂具有当消耗性材料流过添加剂或在添加剂上流动时在消耗性材料中产生目标NORP和/或期望pH的足够溶解度(即水溶性)。用于涂布、浸渍或制造过滤元件的添加剂可被进一步封装入聚合物基体,其随着时间释放添加剂,以便可多次使用过滤元件,而保留在随后的应用中产生目标NORP和/或增加的碱度的能力。用于封装本发明的添加剂的材料包括可以原位交联的任何聚合材料。适当的封装材料包括但不限于海藻酸盐、黄原胶、聚乳酸等。用于实现封装的适当化合物包括但不限于下列文献教导的那些,并且下列文献的公开内容通过引用以其整体并入:美国专利号3,375,933、6,444,316、6,527,051和7,309,429。
在本发明的方面中,添加剂可用于涂布饮料和食物容器例如杯、瓶、玻璃杯、碗、盘、罐、平底锅、壶等的内表面。当这类材料与容器接触时(即放置在容器中时),这类容器在含水消耗性材料中产生NORP。用于这类添加剂涂层的适当制剂如上所述。这类涂层可单独使用并迅速地溶解,或它们可以具有延时释放(time-release)的性质,以允许容器在多次使用中产生NORP。
本发明的添加剂可以在废水处理应用中使用。也就是说,可以配制本发明的添加剂并用于从废水中除去污染物。一般地说,通过提供一定量的废水,将废水与其量足够产生适合于使废水中的氧化污染物还原并沉淀的NOR水平的添加剂接触和从废水除去沉淀的颗粒,实践这类应用。可通过适合于将颗粒与废水分离的任何方法除去沉淀的颗粒,所述方法例如沉积、过滤、离心等。使用用于废水处理的添加剂可用于在包括但不限于市政和农业废水处理的应用中从废水除去任何形式的氧化污染物。如本文公开的废水处理可用任何添加剂进行实践,所述添加剂使废水中的氧化的污染物还原并以允许颗粒被收集和除去的方式沉淀。使用本发明的添加剂处理废水的适当NORP值包括但不限于大约-50和-750mV范围内的NORP。
用于产生稳定化NORP的一些非限制性的示例性添加剂在下面的实施例中示出。也公开的是这些示例性制剂的pH和NORP活性。提供这些实施例(和它们的相对还原电位和pH)仅仅用于例证,并不以任何方式限制本发明的添加剂为任何具体的制剂或活性。本领域技术人员将理解可在没有背离本发明的精神的情况下改变这些制剂。

实施例8-制备二氢-葫芦巴碱
在第一步中,通过使用标准甲基化剂(例如硫酸二甲酯),使用本领域公知的过程,将β-烟酰胺(烟酸,维生素B-3)或β-烟酸N-甲基化以提供高产率的N-甲基衍生物(葫芦巴碱—T-和/或相应T-衍生物)。
在第二步中,根据本领域已知的方法——优选地使用二氢亚硫酸钠,部分还原N-甲基衍生物,以提供1,4-二氢-吡啶衍生物(二氢-葫芦巴碱-DHT)。该还原形式(DHT)当溶于水溶液(例如水)中时提供负ORP,并取决于浓度,产生在大约-50和-300mV之间的NORP值。
实施例9-制备二氧化硅-硼-氢化物及其应用
将偏硅酸钠五水合物(MW 212;50g)溶于500mL蒸馏水中。以足够量加入柠檬酸(或酒石酸或苹果酸)以得到大约9-10的pH。在这类酸化后,未观察到不溶的二氧化硅(我们假定二氧化硅作为胶态水溶液存在)。向该溶液中加入5g硼氢化钠。然后,加入甘露醇(20g)并且冷冻干燥该获得的溶液。所得到物质是‘二氧化硅-硼-氢化物’的固体白色残留物(产量大约80g),其可溶于水(50mg/L)中以产生大约-600mV的负ORP。
实施例10-NORP糖浆
使用蔗糖、葡萄糖、果糖、木糖醇、赤藓醇或许多其他可食用和GRAS认可的糖类,在水中制造大约50%的糖浆。向这类溶液中,首先加入多糖,以稠化该糖浆(例如苹果果胶、黄原胶和类似物),然后每升加入足量的(通常大约0.5-1g)KHCO3-Mg(12∶1)。这类糖浆稳定可达3个月,特别是如果放在4℃的冰箱里。这类糖浆的ORP通常为大约-500mV。

10.权利要求9所述的混合物,其中所述镁颗粒和所述碳酸氢钾以能够在所述消耗性材料中产生大约-200和-800mV之间的NORP和大约8到10之间的pH的比率存在。
11.在消耗性材料中产生负氧化还原电位的方法,其包括:
a.提供消耗性材料;和
b.将所述消耗性材料与添加剂接触,所述添加剂包含至少一种还原剂和至少一种载体的混合物,
c.其中将所述消耗性材料与所述添加剂接触在所述消耗性材料中产生大约-200和-800mV之间的负氧化还原电位。
12.权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述消耗性材料选自食物、饮料、糖果、调味品、增甜剂、佐料和其组合。
13.权利要求12所述的方法,其中所述饮料选自水、果汁、咖啡饮品、茶饮品、调味饮料、营养水、能量饮品、水合电解质运动饮品、牛奶和其组合。
14.权利要求13所述的方法,其中所述至少一种还原剂选自无机还原剂、有机还原剂和其组合。
15.权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述至少一种载体选自碱、糖、抗坏血酸类似物、EDTA类似物和其组合。
16.权利要求15所述的方法,其中所述无机还原剂包括选自镁、钙、锌、铁、铜、锰、钴和其组合的元素金属的颗粒。
17.权利要求15所述的方法,其中所述有机还原剂选自氨基-胍、二氢-吡咯衍生物、二氢-呋喃衍生物、二氢-吡啶衍生物和其组合。
18.权利要求16所述的方法,其中所述碱选自碳酸氢钠、碳酸氢钾、碳酸钠、碳酸钾、碳酸镁、氧化镁、碳酸钙和其组合。
19.权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述碱选自碳酸氢钠、碳酸氢钾、碳酸钠、碳酸钾、碳酸镁、氧化镁、碳酸钙和其组合。
20.权利要求18所述的方法,其中所述无机还原剂包括镁颗粒。
21.权利要求20所述的方法,其中所述至少一种载体包括碳酸氢钾。
22.权利要求21所述的方法,其中所述镁颗粒和所述碳酸氢钾以能够在所述消耗性材料中产生大约-200和-800mV之间的NORP和大约8到10之间的pH的比率存在。
23.用于在消耗性材料中产生负氧化还原电位的添加剂,其包含下列物质的混合物:
a.元素镁的颗粒;
b.碱;
c.其中所述元素镁的颗粒的大小为小于大约500微米;和
d.其中所述元素镁的颗粒和所述碱以能够在所述消耗性材料中产生大约-200和-800mV之间的负ORP和大约8到10之间的pH的比率存在。
24.权利要求23所述的混合物,其中所述碱选自碳酸氢钠、碳酸氢钾、碳酸钠、碳酸钾、碳酸镁、氧化镁、碳酸钙和其组合。
25.权利要求29所述的混合物,其中所述元素镁的颗粒和碳酸钠的比率分别在大约1∶5和1∶50之间。
26.从废水除去污染物的方法,其包括:
a.提供具有氧化形式的污染物的废水;
b.将所述废水与添加剂接触,所述添加剂包含至少一种还原剂和至少一种载体的混合物;
c.其中将所述废水与所述添加剂接触使氧化的污染物被还原并沉淀;和
d.从所述废水中除去所述沉淀。
