All finalists will be invited to attend the final awards ceremony in November 2011. We will cover stay and travel expenses for all finalists plus one adult (teacher/ parent/ guardian). In addition, all finalists will receive a Doodle 4 Google certificate and a Google goodie bag.
After the public online vote, there will be three winners announced - one in each of the three groups. This will be decided based on the doodle that gets the most public votes in each group. These winners will be announced at the final awards ceremony in Mumbai and will be awarded a 'Technology Starter Package'.
There will also be one overall National winner (which may or may not be one of the three group winners). This winner will be decided by Google’s original doodler, Dennis Hwang. In addition to the Technology Starter Package, this National winner will also have his/ her doodle displayed on the Google India homepage (www.google.co.in) as the official Google logo on Children’s Day - November 14th 2011. He/ she will also win his/ her school a technology grant of Rs.2,00,000.
