Google Mail gadget inactive with IE7Kevin Shine - Feb 9, 2010 - Report this comment
I use ie7 with xp because ie8 quite commonly it appears is highly unstable and reverting back to ie7 works perfectly. The google mail gadget has always worked fine in this environment till last month. Surely it is not everyone that has suddenly lost all their basic computer understanding or developed psychiatric problems requiring the expertise of a shrink. More likely that ie7 has altered with automatic windoews updates and caused this problem. It is quite reasonable to be asking Google to provide a fix for using this gadget with xp & ie7 or let the users know if it cannot be done. Hopefully, Google's technicians will take a more professional approach than Jim Lahey and have more advanced communication skills rather than just being nauseating twerps.
Using this Gadget on Firefox 3.6 and IE8, have NEVER had any issues or problems. Get your computer checked out or get your head examined because this works fine. Its not Google's fault you dont understand basic computing *lol* if i HAD to find something to gripe about, it would be not being able to use multiple GMail gadgets to check multiple accounts. But thats more of a feature request than a gripe. Everything works great though. You people have serious issues, go take a computer class and after that see a shrink.
before i had to repair my comp it worked great and was the best thing on my home page. but now its all changed why? i just can't get it to work it's a waste of space. fix it NOW!
I am sick of gadgets working then not working and Google mail (if they were going to get one to work you would have assumed it would be there own mail program) is about the worst as it is the only one that could have been useful! If this is a preview of Google's ability to do 'OS' then forget it guys and stick to search engines.
Gmail widget not working!Darryl Schellenberg - Feb 7, 2010 - Report this comment
My Widget won't show me any previews, have to load email manually all the time...piece of $%#@!
first i got blank email box and now i get message: sorry, but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. to protect our users, we can't process your request right now.
My thanks to Adrian for 'solving' my gmail issue. I've set my language to US and I can now see my email on iGoogle. Come on Google fix this so we Brits can see our email!

I am so annoyed with how unreliable iGoogle is. The Gmail gadget hardly ever works. Does anyone know how this problem can be fixed?
